Thanks for the link. Ignoring, for the moment, whether or not it should be updated to something newer than 2.11, if the _host_ system is running glibc >= the specified version then all should be well. But if the LFS glibc is newer than what is on the host system I *assume* you will be open to odd failures (depending on what has been added to various versions of glibc over the years, and how old the host glibc is).
