Hello,
I am 1yr into linux. Having fun! Learning alot.
I have an AMD k6-2 /128mb ram /4gb hd laptop.
I have been running a dual boot with Win'98se and RH9.
Each has 2gb hd space to run in but I also use a lot of vfat space on the 98 side:)
Even so, I am down to about 100mb of linux ext3 working space.
I may be able to loose enough RH9 stuff to get 500mb free.

I would like to try my hand at LFS to see what improvements I can get as everything is in i386 and I dont think I'm optimizing tho old k6-2.
Does this seem like a workable building environment? (or in-sane....)
How about dumping all the RH9 side and using the live cd on the then created 2gb of free ext3 space?
Thanks, Howard
