Oooh, I didn't know about "dmesg -n"!  I like it!  8-)

But, just personally, I don't like the idea of rc.site.  If the user is
expected to know about it and how to use it, then 1) (s)he can just make
those changes in rc & functions, and 2) there's no reason to still have
them in rc & functions--one or the other, but not both.  Personal
opinion, mind you.  ;-)

The rc.site file is optional.  By default everything is commented out.
You can just delete it if you want. It's a bit easier than individual changes as everything is in one place, but it is just a convenience to use or not use as you desire.
