This is a digression on the main topic and as I already stated, beside
refining the name I like the current patchset.

At least two manufacturer that I know are working on such replacements
because stagefright and openmax, not sure it is an omap for one, one
definitely isn't.

I'm not so informed about omap, but I know that gstreamer powered
android system do exist and do work better than the stock stagefright+omx.
