I said neither of the two things. I see factually that there is a gap between wide usage and rationality which doesn't make it synonymous but still a problem and I don't see "anonymity overlay" as being a sufficient qualifier for a scalable authority-free alternative Internet. I use Tor every day, but several other projects are more suitable for the plan of making a new Internet. Tor is too much focused on providing low latency access to old Internet offerings and we discuss its shortcomings each day on the Tor mailing lists and meetings. Making the Internet new means kissing the client- server model good-bye, at least for the majority of everyday uses. -- E-mail is public!
