I see it differently. The Republican party is as much an enemy to individual liberty as the Democratic party. Invididual members of the Republican party are sympathetic to libertarianism or espouse what they think is libertarianism; ditto for the Democratic party. Of these individuals, there probably is a greater number in the RP than the DP; but this does not carry over to the party itself. The programs and policies now advocated by the RP and by RP politicians (first and foremost Bush himself) are as much anti-liberty as anything advocated by the Democrats, and active support of them (such as Dondero's) is working against the cause of liberty.
