IOW, the Republicans may have proposed some cuts, but those cuts are inconsequential compared to what really needs to be done. Democratic and MSM response is not relevant. Although, to tell you the truth, I've seen barely any mention of anyone proposing cuts in the MSM, and even less mention of anyone attacking those cuts.
