Cory,

Thanks for the clarification. I totally agree. Except don't
forget that we are not only fighting IN Iraq, but fighting FOR
Iraq (because we love them and their country so much [wink]). I
have a buddy who drives a truck and he occasionally gets on the
CB radio and announces loudly "I love the Iraqi people!" Of
course the typical response from other truckers is strongly
critical of the comment and in favor of the war. He then replies
with a reminder that we are not only fighting IN Iraq, but
fighting FOR Iraq; to save them because we love them. If not
because we love them, then why are we fighting the war? At that
point, it is complete silence - so much for redneck patriotism.

{American jurors have complete Constitutional authority to vote
"not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the
case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions.
There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
its other main purpose: to counteract abusive government and
unjust lawsuits.

I am suggesting that if some Americans want to fight in Iraq for
freedom, they are welcome to do so at their cost, whether that be
money or
their lives. Forcing people to pay for the war, as is the current
situation,
whether they want to or not, is hardly a cause of liberty.
