Ok I'm going to jump in without reading all the previous and forward
posts. Yes the government has sighned treaties, it owes debt, it owes
a lot of debts to a lot of people not just to American Indians such
as my full blooded Cherokee cousins, the US and the state governments
have done a lot of people wrong BLack chattel slavery, JIm Crow,
Asian laws, the War on Drugs, letting people die because a drug was
not approved by the federal government, the war on guns, eminet
domain, taxes, persucution of homosexuals and poly hetrosexuals,
continuing payment by the same old unjust tax system is no way to
compensate other injustices, it just makes more injustice and
recentement. THe government has land, hard assets and liquid assets
these should be gone after before encouraging the continuation of the
unjust tax system. Also political class elite members including large
corporations that encourage these injustices or have in the past
should not be off limits to jury system
lawsuits.
Also it would be a good idea for the other nations to try
their best to do as the Eastern band of Choctaw by cutting their ties
to the BIA and the Interior Dept a lot more as much as possible, turn
over land management and royality funds if any to the local tribes
and clans, encourage the Choctaw, the Cherokee and other nations
with revenue from casinos and other business to help out their less
fortunate Indian Brothers and Sisters with mutual aid, legal aid,
mutual banking, Time Dollar banking etc.--- In
