If the only salvation of the Libertarian Party were to abandon principles, as three quarters of the Platform has been abandoned, and run a left-wing, statist Democrat for president, my first choice would be Cynthia McKinney. Did anyone hear her concession speech and the country music song which she dedicated to Bush, "You've come a long way from alcohol and cocaine." I found that to be very creative and inspiring.
