FYI: you can get diff to ignore whitespace changes by passing -x -w:

svn diff -rPREV -x -w include/utils/parallel.h

Most of the original files were all indented with emacs' default
indenting for C++ files.  I seem to remember this being the same thing
as GNU indent?  Is this the same thing as astyle?
