OK, thanks, that looks useful. Good to see that we can avoid fully dense
rows and columns with SCALAR dofs by making them subdomain-restricted.
Also, (when I get some time) I'll look into making a PR based on Roy's
suggestion of updating FEType to use an int internally. I think that's a
simple way to provide arbitrary order SCALARs.
