Nice to see the effort on Windows port :) This will definitely a big step
in OpenDBX

PostgreSQL and Sqlite3, perfect.

For MSSQL I have a problem. When trying to run my tests I get a windows
prompt that says (it is in spanish but I translate it to you in english):

"Failed to start the application because it was found libsybdb.dll.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem"

I searched in all my machine *sybdb* and this is all I found:

c:\msys\1.0\local\freetds\lib\libsybdb.a
c:\WINDOWS\system32\libsybdb.a
c:\msys\1.0\local\freetds\bin\libsybdb-5.dll
c:\msys\1.0\local\freetds\lib\libsybdb.la
c:\msys\1.0\local\freetds\lib\libsybdb.dll.a
c:\WINDOWS\system32\libsybdb-5.dll
c:\WINDOWS\system32\libsybdb.la
c:\WINDOWS\system32\libsybdb.dll.a
c:\msys\1.0\local\freetds\include\sybdb.h
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb.la
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb.lai
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\libsybdb.la
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb.a
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb-5.dll
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb.dll.a
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb-5.dll.def
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\src\dblib\.libs\libsybdb.exp
c:\mariano\freetds-0.82\include\sybdb.h
c:\mariano\SQL Server\freetds-0.82\include\sybdb.h

My PATH is like this:

c:\MinGW\lbin;c:\MinGW\lib;c:\msys\1.0\lib\;c:\msys\1.0\bin\;C:\XEClient\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Archivos
de programa\QuickTime\QTSystem\;C:\MySQL\bin;C:\Archivos de
programa\TortoiseSVN\bin;c:\PostgreSQL\8.3\bin\;c:\Archivos de
programa\Microsoft SQL
Server\90\Tools\binn\;%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;C:\MySQL\MySQLServer5.0\bin

However, if I compile openDBX with mssql by myself, it works perfect. I did
some tests and the problem seems to be in libmssqlbackend-1.dll not
libopendbx-1.dll.

I am compiling rc2, not 3. Do you think there could be a change that affects
this ?

Tell me what's more can I test.

I couldn't tests with the rests of the backends because I don't have all of
them installed. I will try to do it and in such case I will let you know the
results.

When this dlls are testes, we should update the link:

Cheers,
