Your opinion. Reality is that any commit has passed peer review and is *not* a
mistake.  If it causes a regression, then grounds for an urgent revert and the
original Dev, or any other Dev with sufficient karma will back it out.

Happens frequently!

This is not that, and saying that it was "by mistake" is flat out rude. But
that seems to be your shtick--loud, obnoxious and tone-deaf to nuance needed in
FOSS.
