--- Comment #29 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #28) > Again that information is already presented in the SCD! It is trivial to > statically identify if a font has script/language coverage by its listed > coverage of Unicode locale block. If you think it's trivial trivial, then great, the computation isn't expensive and it's not an issue to filter out or mark the typeface which doesn't support a language. Of course, forcing the user to go through the SCD every time - and actually, go through it as many times whenever they need to make a choice of typeface, is out of the question. > Those same Unicode block coverage details could allow query filtering of the > fontlist. I'm not sure I would filter the font combobox in the SCD itself, we're talking about the Font selection tab of the CS dialog, and the other typeface combo-boxes (formatting toolbar, properties sidebar). But that's bikeshedding and others might feel differently. 2. The filtering, or higlighting/marking, not being implemented - is the bug. It needs to have been. > Of course it is. > > And that *is* a feature request! But whatever... I'll take the "whatever" :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
