--- Comment #36 from Mike Kaganski <[email protected]> --- Filtering is IMO not entirely correct approach; but when the language is given (which must then always accompany places where the font list is given - e.g., language selection would appear in Special Characters dialog) - the list could be split into e.g. top part with "fonts covering the (relevant part of) Unicode range", and bottom part (possibly after a separator) with fonts that don't, preferably with a icon which would contain the language name (e.g., BUL) striken out, and a tooltip telling that it doesn't support the chosen language; or an infobar (including the dialogs, like the warnings we provide elsewhere) about the fact that the chosen font doesn't include the characters needed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
