--- Comment #3 from Jorendc <[email protected]> --- Hi Ivan, Tip: Please browse to this report (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66266) to comment on the bug. Please do not reply on the email you get. This creates a lot of noise :) (In reply to comment #2) > Hi Joren, Are you saying > that the 4.1.0 RC1 version is better than 4.0.4.2 (which I thought was the > most recent non-beta version)? I am not saying it is better or stabler (it is a Release Candidate (between beta and official release)). The only reason why I suggested to test this version is because I'm experiencing some speed improvements :). We highly not recommend to use RC-versions or 'point zero' versions for important documents etc etc. > I'm having trouble making sense of the "user profile reset". Maybe RAM can be a problem here. No need to be tech-savvy: go to LibreOffice > Preferences. Unfold 'LibreOffice' and click on 'Memory'. The default 'Number of steps' is 100 which requires after a while a 'big' piece of memory. What is the result if you decrease this value to about 30 or so? (Click on OK after it, restart LibreOffice and retest again). > > Thanks for your help. As a non-techie, I try to "give back" in other ways. Well, I have to thank you ;-) Kind regards, Joren -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
