I agree, would find it rather confusing to invert the default behavior of
spinboxes to do something else here.

There's a UX/design team and Eyal already added the corresponding "needsUXEval"
keyword (and CC) to notify people in it.

What could technically work is to handle the key event manually, but as I'm
saying above, I would stick to the default behavior here.
