My initial guess based on the wording was that it’d be something like if you are editing in the middle of a paragraph rather than typing at the end of one. That is not the case though. The help text explains it more clearly: “You can also apply [M] AutoCorrect options to a selection or a whole document of existing text by using Tools - AutoCorrect - Apply.” I think we should change the explanation of [M] to “[A] When applying AutoCorrect to an existing text”. I think it’d be really helpful to have the word “apply” in there because that is the name of the menu option used to invoke the operation.
