Agreed, that will be a logical choice and allow the user to change if needed. Thanks for the information on where to look. It would be good if the help text on ARRAYTOTEXT also included this information. For instance: "The delimiters for column and row can be set in menu Tools > Options > Calc > Formula > Separators."
