Indeed, happens on Linux as well. The cursor changes from bucket into default but on macOS for some reason shifted downwards. You can check this with the sticky mode (double click the clone formatting button) - after applying the clone the cursor remains default unless moved a pixel, shifting back then. Another weird thing is the icon direction. On my attachment 208853 the bucket pours to the right, on macOS all goes south. I'm using Karasa Jaga on Linux and Sukapura on macOS but that doesn't matter. We flip the icons but only in case of RTL UIs, and mine is de_EN too. This is obviously a mac related bug.
