ady <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version|26.8.1.1 release |7.6.5.2 release Hardware|x86-64 (AMD64) |All OS|Windows (All) |All Keywords| |bibisectRequest, regression --- Comment #8 from ady <[email protected]> --- As mentioned in comment 4, IFS() is "COM.MICROSOFT.IFS", not in ODFF. It works as expected in LO 5.2, so it is not an implementation error > Regression. I tested it in LO 7.6.4.2 > fails. It might fail in older versions too, but since I have not tested it, I am changing the Version field to 7.6.4.2 for now. Minimal STR: A1: =IFS(1; -2) A2: =IFS(TRUE(); -2) A3: =N(A2) Expected result: A1: -2 A2: -2 A3: -2 Actual result: A1: -2 A2: TRUE A3: -2 Conclusion: The stored value in cell A2 is still the numeric value "-2", but the cell is automatically formatted as Boolean. Minimal conditions to trigger the bug: _ The first argument is a boolean, or a result of a boolean test; a numeric non-zero value does not trigger the bug. _ The Result argument is a negative numeric value; other Results do not trigger the bug. Additional tests (possibly helpful as unit tests): =IFS(0; -2; 1; -3) =IFS(FALSE; -2; TRUE(); -3) =IFS(1; 2) =IFS(TRUE(); 2) =IFS(1; "A") =IFS(TRUE(); "A") and similar functions such as COUNTIFS(), MAXIFS(), MINIFS(), SUMIFS(), AVERAGEIFS(), or generically "*IFS()". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
