get to understand the system of relative and absolute paths including symbolic
links. Move the liked object to a shared folder (e.g. a network folder) and use
an absolute path to the file on the shared folder.
This has nothing to do with LibreOffice and Linux. That works the same way on
Linux, OS X, and Windows and moreover on any other application which can create
and kind of links (e.g. HTML pages)
