It happens on occasion that one of the mirror sites will have posted a
corrupt/partial installer package. The owner/administrator of the mirror is
responsible for verifying the HASH of what they post match what the TDF
provides. They sometimes don't.
Wise users are expected to verify the HASH (and signatures if they are
cautious) of the package before proceeding with installation.
Looks as if you simply had a corrupt installer package.
If you remember (or can Identify) the mirror your downloaded the package from,
we can poke the mirror administrator to check HASH of their package(s).
Otherwise closing this as WFM. Please reopen if you are able to identify the
poisoned mirror site and we'll send them a note.
