I just tried with and the issue is still there:
- If the discrete GPU is active Libreoffice works;
- If the discrete GPU is NOT active it crashes.

It seemed to me too that it was working but there was a process (mbfloagent)
which triggered the additional graphic which, in turn, allowed the LibreOffice
execution.
At the first reboot mbfloagent was gone and LO crash was back.
Macbook pro mid 2010 nvidia 330M, LO 5.2.2.2, MACOS Sierra 10.12.1
