I have a case of a simlilar looking freeze, although without any tweak to the
color profile or any external vs internal video card.
the backtrace was similar to the extent that it was once again a 'exception in
malloc' double wammy kind of freeze....
and that one also got 'fixed' by upgrading to the latest Sierra.
my previous repport of reproducing tweaking the color profile is also fixed by
upgrading Sierra.
I would be inclined to close as NOTOURBUG
