But after it sees the generic IR port, why can't you simply choose My
Computer -> Device Manager -> IR port -> drivers and set it to the
Toshiba one? After all, if a device has been loaded once into the
system, the *.inf file in the \windows\inf\ directory will have been
updated to include that file, and the corresponding devices that are
listed in that *.inf file.
