Just delete all the entrird in device manager relegated to IR and reinstall
the Toshiba FIR driver and Window Infrared driver. However, FIR
communication in Win98SE is broken (see MS KB) and sometimes work, sometimes
don't. I suggest you install Win2000 if you really want to use the IR port
and has 64MB of memory. I got a FIR USB adapter for my desktop and using FIR
to set up an internet connection though my desktop Win2000 internet sharing.
Works perfect!
