It doesn't really see the Ir port.  There is NO Ir entry in Device Manager, 
or in Control Panel.  There is no indication of an Ir port in my BIOS. (this 
is not right is it?)  There is only the " ! Generic Ir Serial Port".

The fir78098.exe driver update/install appears to do nothing -Windows seems 
to find no new/different drivers for the port and just continues on with the 
"Generice Ir serial port"  which then doesn't work.

So, who wants to tell me how to reload with the CD, but without a Toshiba CD 
drive?
