Re-seated the memory board. Put back the keyboard. It looks like the problem is now fixed. Thanks for help. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: 110 memory: testing and replacing Date: Fri, 28 Apr 2000 07:01:21 +0900 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks David. Great program. Does not find any errors. However this program also freezes when I press Ctrl key. It also seems to freeze sometimes without any intervention and without showing memory errors. I think I do not need to re-install Windows 98. This should convince Toshiba that this is a hardware problem. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: 110 memory: testing and replacing Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 10:11:03 -0700 From: David Chien <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: Libretto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Libretto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 10:07:37 -0700 (PDT) From: David Chien <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: 110 memory: testing and replacing Test under DOS only. Windows can crash now and then for no better reason and cause a false positive. Use DocMemory, a free memory tester that writes lots of patterns into every memory address over and over again to check the integrity of the system. http://www.simmtester.com/PAGE/products/doc/docinfo.asp ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
