The latest pcmcia-cs package (3.1.14 from memory, I'm not at home) does
contain the latest 1.70 ray_cs driver.

I'm wondering if the problem might be related to the age and power of my
hardware. The firewall is a 486DX4-160 and the Thinkpad is a
486DX2-50.

I wasn't too concerned with the problem when I detected it 2 mo ago on
my firewall (uptimes ca 30 days).

The reason I want to fix this little problem is because the Thinkpad
will be running for ~8hrs a day. I have turned it into a dynamic
picture frame: take the LCD off, mount in a picture frame, put the rest
of the laptop in a shadow box behind the frame. Once assembled, the
Aviator won't be accessable for ejection/reinsertion.
