support.microsoft.com and www.deja.com to search for clues as to why the big
pig is dying.  It's gonna be a long search and lots of trial and error if
nobody else has experienced the exact same thing.

other than that, I'd install:
1) OS, drivers, latest IE then all Win95 updates and patches.
2) Install Outlook, then SR2 Office updates.
3) Install the other apps.

Run that for a couple weeks and see (all w/o synching w/ the Jornada).

If it kills itself again, then install only 1 & 2.

If it still kills itself, blaim MS for crummy products, then up/down
grade to Outlook 97 or 2002; or skip it all and jump to Netscape and
discover a world of macro-virus free living.
