You are trying too hard - the ma rating of the libretto batteries is printed
right on them, and you know how long the battery lasts, so you can do the
math quite easily...

I think NICAD batteries need something more complex than just a power source
to finish charging... NICAD rechargers are cheap, and the capacity of D
cells are very good...
