Its the kind of stuff they use for write wrests >or knee's for gardners This is probably the wrong end of the spectrum but in everyday use I keep my libby inside an unpadded, thick-walled cardboard box that my mobile phone's accessories came in (its the double-layer corrugated cardboard type). Its just a nice size for the libby to sit in (the width and depth fit exactly and its about 1cm higher) and the top closes down such that you need to lift a tab to open it - its not going to fly open if you drop it ... I've dropped it off desks and whatnot plenty of times in the box and its been fine, cardboard is a wonderful shock absorber. Its also sturdy enough such that when I fall on it (I keep it in my backpack when I go to uni and I've fallen on it more than once) that the box takes almost all of the weight (in big boxes, cardboard can't take a person's weight but in a small box the size of a libby it can take a pretty decent proportion of it ... I've accidentally half-sat on it without the libby inside and its not deformed). Certainly I'd trust it more than those softcovers that companies like CaseLogic sell and best of all, it was completely free ;-) I'm still trying to figure out why a set of mobile phone accessories needed such a sturdy box though ... of course, if I was going treking or something I'd invest in a solid case just in case it all fell in the drink or something but for general bouncing round in my backpack with a few kilos worth of textbooks and whatnot I've got no worries! - Raymond --- /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ | | "Does fuzzy logic tickle?" | | ___ | "My HDD has no reverse.
