Thats why I mentioned at one point that I timed it for when the camera's activity 
light stops. Windows has a nasty habit of reporting the end time as being when the 
DRIVER says its got the end of the file. Which is a problem if the driver has a large 
buffer because then all you're timing is the time taken for the file to make it into 
the buffer. Given that the computer I was testing on had half a gig of RAM, I'm 99.99% 
sure that it was shoving my entire test file into buffer (hence it being done in a 
flash).
