Subject: List of ISA controller modem & NIC cards for L50/70

It's a little tough tracking specs on these cards for sale on EBay. No one
has compiled a list of ISA modem and NIC PC cards with hardware controllers
that work well in the L50/70s, have they?

I last asked here about these cards people have working in Linux. But I've
realized that almost all of these cards will work well in Linux on the
L50/70s as long as they are are ISA controller cards.

So could I make a request of list members with L50s and/or L70s to give me a
little feedback on the cards they've been using successfully? You can
respond off the list unless you think the info is worth archiving:

# ISA 16 bit 56.6k controller modems
Make:
Model:

#ISA 16 bit network (controller?) cards
Make:
Model:

I confess, I'm not sure whether or not NICs are built in both Win &
controller versions. Thanks to Raymond and Skip for getting me started. I
began looking at Bromax, 3Com, and Linksys cards on EBay, but had a really
hard time trying to determine their specs. Four sellers responded to my
questions saying they had no idea.

Thanks,

Matt

Well, I tried the blocking-

>"If you use Norton Internet Security or AtGuard, one way to block these
>things is to setup the adblocker to block anything with the string
>www.atlantistech.com -- that blocks the script that makes your brwoser send
>an e-mail." (a post from the above search)

and I got the same amount of junk from the same people. I increased my filter strength (SPF almost max) and so far so good. I mistakenly clicked the link to the real estate agency and couldn't figure out what was going on....ACK!!! It pays to pay attention.
