Four sellers responded to my >questions saying they had no idea. Easy way to tell ... if the top of the connector end has a gold colored strip with a row of 8 'bumps' on it, its Cardbus. Also, if you look at the connector end, both Cardbus and 16 bit cards have 2 ledges on the left and 1 on the right however the height of the right hand ledge on a 16 bit card is the same width as that on the left whilst on Cardbus its twice as high. Thats why you can't fit a Cardbus card into a 16 bit slot. For instance: 16 bit: ________ _____ |__ o o / / o o | __| o o / / o o |__ |________/ /________| <--- Same height on both sides.
