Hi I used to use OS/2 Warp 4 before I switched to Windows 95/98. I really liked it. Now I understand that through the Odin project OS/2 can run Windows 95 programs. This is good news to me because the reason I switched to Windoze was because of a Winjoke program I have to run for school. Plus I have to run Winsleep programs for work. If I can run them on OS/2 I think I may switch back. I hate Winslow- it is so buggy, and slow. Fat32 is so slow and crappy compared to HPFS. Warp uses the memory so much more effiently and handles errors (if there are any) so much better. IBleedMe is so much more knowledgeable about software and hardware than Micromoney. Warp runs like an operating system should without needing a 2 gig processor and being a memory hog- totally unlike Winblows. My question is- has anyone run Warp 4 on a 70CT that could tell me what problems I may have? I know I have enough hard drive space and memory, but what about the video? Will I still have the 800 by 600 emulation without the Toshiba screen driver? Will the Warp power management work? How about the pcmcia and sound card? The mouse? The floppy drive? Will the bios give me any problems? I have know idea about this since I ran it on a pretty standard desktop system not a laptop before and its been years since I set it up but if I remember the system of built-in drivers was very complete and I had no problem setting it up on a desktop. Plus IBM keeps them up. I doubt Toshiba has any drivers for it. Thanks for any help.
