I've used my L110 for quite a bit and it's still the same stiff feel. > From what Lee said, I guess Toshiba didn't bother to make a cord to connect > the charger to the 100CT. HRS is stamped on the connector. Pretty certain it's the RP34L-5PA-2SC (1857) connector: http://www.hirose.co.jp/cat2002j/100/j11351611.pdf that mates into the RP34L-5R-2PD in the Libretto 100/110. www.digikey.com in the USA (one of the biggest electronics parts distributers anywhere), carries it if you search on the part #s. RP34L-5PA-2SC $14.86 EACH (connector on power cord end) RP34L-5R-2PD $ 3.11 EACH (connector inside Libretto end) Looks like they really want people who are trying to build their own power supplies to pay up! Anyways, I'm a bit fuzzy headed right now, so double-check the PDF specs to make sure I'm talking about the right part. It ruler's out to be the same as my L110 connector... > Then at some point I'd really like to set up the W2K OS on the 100, and pray > for less crashing. been running win98se on my L110 forever and it has rarely ever crashed. Key is to always to a fresh install of the OS, drivers, apps and settings, then backup everything to CD-R. That way, system is totally stable for months, even years to come. Install apps over apps over time and you'll get a messed up system. Best bet when installing new apps? Restore from that CD-R, install the new appps, then backup everything to CD-Rs. That way, everything stays fresh. Then again, computers DO listen to me when I'm around, so they never badly misbehave... ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
