I am shopping for a USB/PCMCIA adapter for my L100, and hoped to get some
feedback from you all on models that have/haven't worked out for you.

Also a question:  The USB2 cards all seem to have a DC power jack - is this
external power required under all circumstances and uses?  It it for USB2
devices only?  My almost exclusive use would be downloading digicam images
using USB1.1, so could I successfully use these cards w/o external power?

I'm still wondering if the bus speeds of the Librettos can get USB2 to transfer data faster than USB1.1. I didn't get any replies to my old post asking if anyone has set up USB2 on their Libretto.
