I'm watching with amusement :)

Mandrake linux 9.1 grip, a one click solution: put CD in, push button, out
comes a nice pile of ogg files, all nicely named and in their own directory.
(It's quicker on the Desktop but it works on the portege and the 70 (though
the 70 takes forever to code))

Of course, I just bought daughter an iRiver mp3 player (veeeery nice! ten
hours from an AA cell, 128MB storage, radio, record from radio or mic) so I
need to put an MP3 codec in there as well - blade or lame seem to work. Or I
wait until iRiver get their ogg decoder released :)
