Subject: Cheap wireless internet access

I might have mentioned this before but I have incrediblely cheap wireless
internet access. I get cellular through Verizon Wireless and pay 80 bucks a
month for the 1200 anytime minute and unlimited nights and weekends for my
cell phone for their America's Choice network which pretty much gives me
nationwide cellular coverage. For an aditional 20 bucks a month I added a
Sierra Wirelless 555 aircard wireless cell modem which plugs into the
cardbus slot. It uses the same plan as my phone and accesses the Verizon
Wireless 14.4k network and 144k express network. The 14.4k network can be
accessed anywhere Verizon has digital cdma coverage. (The 144k express
network can in some areas but it costs more.) The 14.4k works great for
getting email and web browsing. Downloading files greater than 500k or a meg
is too slow to be really practical so I do those at night when I have
unlimited coverage (burns up too many minutes during the day!!). So for 100
bucks a month (plus tax) I have great wireless phone and internet coverage!!
I use it out east and in the midwest mostly. I don't even have a wired phone
or internet access actually anymore just cellular so its all I ever use.

John
