Here in USA, they're pulling off Sprint networks, so it's basically a rebranded pay-as-you-go Sprint cellphone. Service is cheap (for a low-use phone) at $6.66 min to keep the phone alive with 30 min per month of use, and up to about 60-90 min of use per month, okay price wise. The cheaper Party Animal Kyocera 2119b phone is the best buy - works very well, and doesn't have the cheap, greasy plasticy buttons on the higher end model they sell. Service is very good and quality and connections work w/o a hitch here in So. California. Recommended for a low-use, emergency phone. Great for text-messaging as well - you compose the messages on the phone rather than online on the cellular network (as most Sprint phones require you to do), so you can take all the time you want to compose a little 160 character email that can be sent out to any email address in the world (you can also receive any messages, too! eg. got one of my email accounts auto-copied to my cell phone). -- Otherwise, see www.amazon.com -> electronics -> cell phones _> tmobile -> c332 Motorola for $0.01 with $150 rebate. Well, you see, got my 500 model for free from Sprint! They were giving them away by the truck load last year because of the upgrade to the faster service, so they just gave that and two months free just like that. Of course, it was a happy ebay item thereafter knowing that I'd never pay for slow service with the 500 (but might on the faster 555 card).
