AFAIK The partition should be there at the end of the drive but windows fdisk cannot see it. You can make your own if you get linux boot and root disks ie slackware 8.0 and make type ibm hibernation mode. I cannot remember how big they are I think 1Mb or something. I do not know about the pcmcia cd drive.
