Comparing the Hitachi's 7K60 power consumption etc. with the original
4.3 GB Lib110 CT disk and a Toshiba MK1517 15GB HD from their respective
specs sheets, I couldn't discern significant differences.
My Lib110 does get quite warm at the left side of the keyboard (i.e.,
above the HD), but I often changed HDs just after several hours of
operation and I found that even then they all could (just) be touched
with bare fingers, i.e. T < 45 degrees C or so (I guess).

But as regards the "massage" -- this Hitachi 7K60's vibration is indeed
striking .....
