Hi David,
Yeah... I read that. But I was confused about the10/100 LED being on, and yellow when using a crosover cable to connect my 2 Libs. There seems to be a general concensus that a crossover cable by definition is limited to 10Mbps or less. The only thing I could guess was that maybe the 10/100 LED would change from yellow to green when a 100Mbps connection is made. I was guessing a that because the other 2 LEDs only glow green.
But I guess that LED being on only means the card is >capable< of a 100Mbps connection, and isn't actually monitoring or testing the connection. It sure isn't detecting the crossover cable or bothering to turn the LED off if it is.
I'm not quite sure were to go from here to find out why I'm not getting faster transfers through this new LAN switch than I am with just a crossover cable.
