Hi, First of all, thank you guys for working on Licq, and especially thank you for fixing Licq to properly work in such hard times.
A freind wrote a patch for Licq which spawns GPG for every incoming/ outgoing message message, checks if the remote other party is in the key ring, decrypts/encrypts accordingly and finally presents it to the user in cleartext. His patch is very hackish and C-style, so you probably wouldn't accept it in. But, it would be really cool if it was possible to have some sort of plugin binding that allows the plugin author to rewrite/change/influence the message stream, so that a simple shellscript could do the trick in our example, many other things would then be possible, aswell. ;) Ideally, such messages would be prepended with the UIN of the remote party, for easy processing. bye, Marc. -- marc @ corky.net fingerprint = D1F0 5689 967F B87A 98EB C64D 256A D6BF 80DE 6D3C /"\ \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML Mail / \ _______________________________________________ Licq-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/licq-devel
