IMHO contributions on documentation is always welcomed.

I think this is a bug as the key looks invalid:
def firstNameDisplayName = ??("First Name")

S.? is about user defined strings
S.?? is about strings used internally by Lift when generating markup
mostly. Thus we allow users to intenationalize Lift's strings
I don't think they should not be unified. Some Lift applications would
never use Lift's internal strings (if they don't use Mapper etc.) so
in such cases the user only needs to define the application specific
bundles.

I hope so too :)
