One thing that is possible is to use the more sophisticated skyline but
treat the extents as a sort of bounding box.
I know right away that this will be problematic for grobs like DynamicText
when its forte, as the fatness of the f on either side is ignored in the
bounding box but is important in the skyline.
However, it would work in the case of most TextScripts (including the one
in this example).
What do people think?
