Regarding comment #40
Some observations:
I had a look at the attached Finale.pdf
Attached a screenshot with
left-up: firefox-default (don't know what viewer)
left-down: evince 2.30.3 (ok, old version)
right: acroread 9.5.4
-Can't say that Finale does a good job.
-Only acroread seems to show the red boxes _and_ your remarks.
If the pdf-viewers are _that_ different I don't envy David with this job.
